The majority of the young women that we serve come from multicultural backgrounds, and it's important to give them an opportunity to experience things that they might otherwise not be experiencing because they don't have family members in these career paths, or they might not have mentors in their lives who are pursuing or working in these careers.
A big thank you to our supporters who make it possible for us to accomplish our goals and provide these wonderful programs for our young women!
Your generous contributions have lasting impact.
Ella Rises empowers young women to pursue higher education while celebrating the richness of their cultural heritage.
Many of the girls we serve come from multicultural backgrounds and may not have mentors, family members, or role models working in the careers they dream about. We exist to bridge that gap. Through ARIs, we open doors to experiences and opportunities that these young women might not otherwise have access to—and we bring those possibilities directly into their community.
Adolescence can feel confusing, isolating, and uncertain. For a young woman navigating middle school or high school, it's not always clear where she fits or who she can become. ARIs creates a space where she is seen, supported, and surrounded by a community that believes in her potential.
A major pillar of Ella Rises grew from the lived experiences of first-generation college students. And today, most of the young women we serve are the first in their families to pursue higher education. That journey is challenging—but it becomes powerful when walked together.
At Ella Rises, we don't just support the girls—we support their families. Grandparents, siblings, brothers, and parents are welcomed into the experience. Together, we build a community that celebrates culture, embraces education, and lifts young women to rise.
